The USS Delaware (BB-28), the first of the Newport Conference Design Battleships, was commissioned in 1910. She served with the Sixth Battle Squadron in the North Sea during World War I. She was decommissioned in 1923 in accordance with the Washington Naval Treaty of 1921. These plans were obtained from the National Archives, College Park, MD.
